Kristin is married and a proud mom of 2
children.

Another member of her family is her
Golden Retriever, Buzz (named after Buzz
Lightyear from the movie Toy Story!).

Kristin has always been a proud pet mom
and as she says, "I always will".

Kristin is also very knowledgeable
in regards to the health and care of pets,
as her best friend has been a vet technician
over the last 16 years and has past along
such knowledge to Kristin over the years.
She is also very detail oriented, which is a
great asset when it comes to the care of
your pets.

Kelly is the K-10 art teacher at Trillium
Academy which is a performing arts school
located in Taylor. She decided to spend her
summer vacation working with Whisker's &
Wag's. She liked it so much, she decided to
stay on!

She and her husband Scott are also clients
of Whisker's & Wag's and are the proud
parents of Bailey, Pablo, Silvio & Floyd.

Kelly & Scott also spend their free time
volunteering at the Royal Oak Animal
Shelter.

Kelly's warm, unique and playful
personality is a big hit with any pet!

Dawn is a "short-person-smartifier"
according to her husband, Ron, and has
been teaching elementary school children
for over a decade.

She has been a
dog lover all her life and the mother of
Cosmo (a red tricolor Australian
Shepherd) for the past 6 years.

A client of Whiskers and Wags for over 3
years, she is currently assisting her
husband, Ron, in his photography business
and joining forces with the friendly family
of Whiskers and Wags.

Erica is a hairdresser/makeup artist, but
more importantly, a huge lover of animals
and an animal rights supporter.

She has 2 dog children, Piglet & Lemur.
Piglet is a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell mix and
Lemur is a Chihuahua. Piglet is 5 yrs. old
and was purchased from a trade center ,
where she was sick and had been sitting for
2 weeks. Lemur is 3 years old, and was
inherited through a friend who had known
that Lemur was looking for a home since
her owner had passed away.

Erica has a strong passion for pets and
their welfare and loves spending time with
them.

JoAnne is a single mom of 2 sons (Jaime &
Jeremy) and 1 dog son (Lucky).

She has a teaching degree in PE and spends
her time as a life guard. She loves
swimming and is very active in her sons
lives and activities. Shes a swim mom!

JoAnne is a great asset to Whisker's &
Wag's by assisting in our office with many
of our clerical tasks. Organization is her
middle name!

Laura helps me keep my head on straight!
She handles our bookkeeping, accounting,
scheduling, payroll, helping me out with sits
when we are overbooked & everything in
between, including having to entertain my
pets while she's trying to work!!

She is the mom of Jake (a Rhodesian
Ridgeback), Twitch (a Mini Rex rabbit, Taffy
(a guinea pig) and newly adopted Lola (a
Chihuahua). Her pets are her family and
therefore makes her very conscientious of
every decision she makes in regards to
their care, hence her involvement in pet
sitting.

She has an Associate in Business
Administration and is currently working on
an Associate in Applied Science, Paralegal.

In her spare time she enjoys baking for her
dogs, frequenting a local pet store or dog
park, or just corralling my animals in her
yard.

Laura P. ended her 14 year career in the
accounting world to pursue lines of work
that enable her to enjoy her love of
animals. She is now a professional potter
that specializes in animal sculptures, tiles
and ornaments of all types.

If you ask her what she thinks are her
most exciting things that have happened to
her, it would be the times when she got to
hold a 6 week old tiger cub, getting licked
by a baby giraffe and touching and feeding
a dolphin!

Her current pet family includes Copper , a
boxer-mix.

We are pleased to have Laura's bubbly and
animated personality join our ranks!
